Bojonegoro — The Bojonegoro Regency Government expressed its high appreciation to BMT NU Ngasem Cooperative Holding for its contribution to strengthening the people's economy and regional development synergy.This was conveyed by the Deputy Regent of Bojonegoro at the 14th Annual Member Meeting (RAT) of BMT NU Ngasem Cooperative Holding which was held on Saturday, February 8 2026, located at the RAT Ballroom Building.In his speech, the Deputy Regent conveyed greetings from the Regent of Bojonegoro who was unable to attend due to the national agenda related to increasing hospital capacity as part of the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry. However, the Regent expressed his welcome to the Deputy Minister who was present as well as his appreciation for the support and enthusiasm given to the people of Bojonegoro.The Bojonegoro Regency Government, he continued, felt proud to have a cooperative driving figure who was able to bring the region's name to the national level. He mentioned the Chairman of the BMT NU Ngasem Cooperative, Wahyudi, as the initiator of the first cooperative holding which is often a national reference, and is even easy to find through various digital information channels with turnover achievements that are considered extraordinary.Apart from economic contributions, the Deputy Regent also highlighted the role of BMT NU Ngasem in supporting the development of local tourism in Bojonegoro. The area around the RAT location is now part of a regional tourism package that

connects the destinations Kayangan Api, Mini Zoo, to Blimbing, which has proven to be popular with the community and encourages local economic turnover.On this occasion, the Bojonegoro Regency Government also explained the achievements of various national strategic programs, including:The Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program which has reached around 268,000 recipients from the total target 357,000 residents.The Free Health Check program has reached 40.86 percent, exceeding the national target of 36 percent in 2025.The People's School Program, with 200 students from decile 1 to decile 4 whose needs are covered by the state.Program KDMP, with 9 villages that have achieved 100 percent realization and are ready to be inaugurated.Food security, where Bojonegoro rice production increased from 710,000 tons to 860,000 tons per year based on BPS data, which led the Regent of Bojonegoro to receive national appreciation from the President of the Republic of Indonesia.The Deputy Regent emphasized that all these achievements cannot be separated from the synergy between local government, society and people's economic institutions, including the strategic role of BMT NU Ngasem as a support for cooperatives and MSMEs.Synergy, good communication and strong collaboration are the keys to successful development in Bojonegoro Regency.
