Bojonegoro — The BMT NU Ngasem Cooperative Holding not only plays a role as a driver of the people's economy, but also makes a real contribution to the development of local tourism in Bojonegoro Regency.
This was conveyed by the Deputy Regent of Bojonegoro in his speech at the 14th BMT NU Ngasem Annual Member Meeting (RAT). He explained that the existence of BMT NU Ngasem had encouraged the formation of local tourism packages based on village potential, which were now starting to become popular with the community.
The Deputy Regent of Bojonegoro stated that the local government appreciated the development of the area around the activity location which was now integrated into the Ngasesmesta local tourism package. The package connects a number of destinations, starting from Kayangan Api, the Mini Zoo owned by local managers, to the Blimbing area.
According to him, the tour package received a positive response from the community and showed a high level of visits. Local tourist transportation activities that continue to run and are in demand are an indicator that this package is being enjoyed by residents.
He emphasized that the development of local tourism is part of the mission of the Bojonegoro Regency Government in encouraging an economy based on regional potential, which cannot be separated from the role of BMT NU Ngasem as one of the drivers of the local economic and tourism ecosystem.
